Betty Sutton “Speaks Out”: What should U.S. do? Ohio’s lawmakers weigh in on the Afghan war
Congresswoman Sutton Takes a Well Deserved Rest.
After her landmark speech at the West Virginia Federation of Democratic Women’s annual meeting, Betty Sutton is certainly due for a period of rest and relaxation. It’s for this reason that I say pooh-pooh on you Jonathan Riskind and the Columbus Dispatch for pointing out that Betty Sutton failed to meet a deadline.

If you, Mr. Riskind, or your paper were worth a dime, you would know that the representative of Ohio’s 13th district is quite busy representing our interests in far away places like West Virginia. How can she possibly be expected to meet a ridiculous deadline from a rag like the Columbus Dispatch. Shame on you for not holding this article until Betty’s response arrived, however long that might have taken (at least three weeks in many cases).
Seriously, Betty, could you try to do a little less gallivanting around the countryside and be a bit more accessible? Look at the list of representatives who managed to respond to Jonathan Riskind’s simple question:
