Back on September 20th, we noticed that Betty Sutton was mysteriously predictably missing from a Columbus Dispatch article by Jonathan Riskind. The Dispatch had asked the 18 members of the Ohio congressional delegation to answer the following question:
Do you think more U.S. troops are needed in Afghanistan? When will the United States know whether the mission has succeeded and U.S. troops can withdraw from Afghanistan?
Every member of the delegation managed to muster an answer except… you guessed it: BETTY SUTTON.
Looks like we were no the only constituents to notice the representative’s absence.
Meet Mr. Calta. On Sept. 21 he e-mailed Rep. Sutton to ask why she failed to respond to the Dispatch questions. In true Sutton style, Calta was ignored! Then, on Oct. 5, he sent a follow-up e-mail to Sutton’s office and got… NOTHING.
Akron.com West Side Leader – Now more than a month has transpired; I have received no feedback from her or her office whatsoever. I am a military veteran and am extremely concerned about our nation’s approach to our effort in Afghanistan, even more so now than last month. I truly want an answer from Rep. Sutton regarding her position in this matter. I am extremely disappointed that I have had no reply whatsoever.
Join the club.
For taking Betty to task in the West Side Leader, this week’s Pwn award goes to, Dick Calta.
