Is your healthcare freedom worth a few hours of your time? We are all tired. We are all frustrated. This is our hour and it is critical that we turn up the heat. Take control, join your fellow patriots for the “Save our Healthcare” rally at Betty Sutton’s Akron office.
The event, which is running in conjunction with other Patriots’ events nationwide, is your chance to let Sutton and her staff know that “We the People” do not want government-run healthcare.
Michele Bachmann said it best, “…this is asking a lot in the next two weeks to go and visit these congressional offices, it is actually a very small price to pay, when you consider that we’re on the precipice of losing the finest healthcare system that has been created…”

The 9/12 DC Tea Party should be an eye opener to our congressional representatives. Will Betty finally listen?
Congresswoman,
On September 10th, you were quoted by the Cleveland Plain Dealer as saying:
“The costs of the status quo are unsustainable and the current system leaves far too many without care when they need it. I share President Obama’s determination to deliver meaningful health-care reform to the American people, but the details matter. I remain committed to continuing to work for a system that will provide the people I am so honored to represent with choices and affordable access to quality effective care.”
On September 12th a crowd of unprecedented size gathered at your Washington D.C. doorstep with one clear message: We don’t want your health reform (HR 3200).
Betty, it’s time for you to represent the will of the people.
Hundreds gathered at the 356th Fighter Group Friday evening to fill 7 busses bound for Washington DC.
The patio overlooking the runway of the Akron Canton Airport was packed with local patriots toting hand made signs. While waiting for the busses to arrive, they recited the Pledge of Allegiance, prayed and enjoyed a “Mini Tea Party”, complete with a short visit from Ben Franklin.
Residence from all over northeastern Ohio have chartered over 40 busses this weekend to be part of one of the largest protests in history. The lively crew leaving this evening not only represented Ohioans, but also people from Pennsylvania, Michigan, Colorado, Iowa and Oregon.

August is recess month for Congress. The month during which our Senators and Congressmen return to their districts to converse with their constituents, usually in the form of Town Hall meetings. This August the Town Hall meetings have been few and far between, apparently because our representatives are unwilling to listen to the message they know they will hear: “No socialized health care!”
Now is the time to take the message to their offices. This coming Saturday, August 22, 2009 we will gather in large numbers at the offices of every Senator and Congressman to let them know beyond any shadow of a doubt that we oppose the take-over of our health care system by our government.
We need this rally to be huge! Please make every effort to go to one of your local Sutton office at noon this Saturday!
